About us

NCL was founded by IC and DUWO in November 2014 and is organized as a non-profit alliance based in Amsterdam. NCL is built-up as an international alliance of leading student housing operators.

Vision

Mission

Objectives

"NCL is a great opportunity for Resa to join a community of european leaders in our sector. We are so excited to share know how and experiences with them, because all this work will result in a better product for our clients.  We strongly believe that NCL will contribute to redesign the whole sector throughout Europe."

Monica Garay, CEO at Resa

"We are proud to be one of the founders of NCL. We are working on further expansion as DUWO wants to facilitate students in a broad spectrum. For example: We want to build a bridge between them and their future European employers and also support the mobility of students throughout Europe so they can easily find a (temporary) room abroad. We are working on other services as well. Also NCL enables us to improve our operations and reduce operating expenses."

Jan Benschop, CEO at Duwo

"We wanted to be member of Network Cum Laude to provide a better service to our students and to share experience and know-how with sector leader in other countries. We at Republika are confident that both our students and our organizations will benefit. The number of international students studying in Turkey is increasing. Thus Republika has developed Turkey’s first high-quality, lifestyle focused institutional student accommodation platform. We aim for significant growth and expansion across the country."

Dogan Kasikci, CEO of Republika Academic Aparts

"Not only do the operators of student accommodation benefit from being part of Network Cum Laude, for example by cooperating to optimise occupancy rates through a cross-border exchange of knowledge. The residents themselves benefit too through easier access to student apartments in vibrant cities and university towns."

Horst Lieder, CEO of International Campus AG

"Upgrade Estate, Belgiums leading student housing operator with his brand Upkot, not only offers original and high-quality student accommodation but wants to add value for his students as well. For that reason we are delighted to join the Network Cum Laude. It will give us the opportunity to share and invest in knowledge on a European scale."

Koenraad Belsack, CEO of Upgrade Estate
